I’ve been studying yoga on and off for a few years now, and believe that it’s a great restorative practice that complements Tai Chi. I have always wanted to learn more an possibly start teaching, and I was finally able to set aside some time to start training as an instructor!
This past weekend I completed my YogaFit Level 1 training, which is the first step toward becoming a yoga instructor. I met a lot of great people and learned quite a bit. Thanks to Donna at Peace Tree Yoga for sharing her wisdom and expertise. I’m excited to bring some accessible yoga to the community!
As part of Level 1 training, we have to do at least 8 hours of community service teaching yoga. I’ll be announcing some free classes in the next week or so.
